Friends and family, at first, providing free services in order to learn, build a portfolio and hone in on my skills. The expression of joy, pride and the renewed sense of worthiness read on faces convinced me to pursue this burgeoning relationship with portraiture for good. The elegance and glamour of the beauty and fashion photography were the primary reasons I initially focused on the genre. Being able to take the knowledge and skills from photographing a model and applying it to a non-model, helping them look and feel their absolute best! That was, and still is, the goal, to some extent. I was introduced to the documentary and storytelling aspect of wedding photography by a friend who also became a mentor. I quickly realized that it was quite a difficult task to tell a story without interference, it takes skill, patience, anticipation, instinct and attention to detail. But when done right, the impact is unmatched! It was no longer just about looking beautiful, it has also become about making one feel the emotion through a photograph. From shooting how it looks, to shooting how it looks and feels. Photography from the heart!
My photography journey began in 2015, after I purchased a camera with the goal of recording videos. However, photography was right around the corner. The ability to not just record life as it moves in real time but to freeze one particular subject, one moment for eternity sparked an insatiable thirst to learn more. At first, taking photographs of landscapes and cityscapes, then turning my lens on human beings; this was it! Portraiture. The ability to relate to my subjects, their stories and finding a way to reflect it through a photograph.

More than just an assistant, I am Virgil’s second pair of hands and eyes, ensuring every shoot flows seamlessly. My role extends beyond holding a reflector or adjusting the veil—I support not only him but also the bride in ways that help her feel radiant, confident, and completely taken care of. Thanks to my modeling background, I have an innate understanding of angles, posture, and the subtle details that elevate an image from beautiful to breathtaking. A stray hair, a misplaced strap—those are the little things that can make all the difference, and I notice them before they ever reach the camera. I was blessed to know how it feels to have a team support you on your wedding day, and while Virgil focuses on capturing the story, I ensure every detail is flawless so the bride can simply enjoy her day. Wedding photography is more than capturing a moment; it’s about creating an experience—one where elegance meets authenticity, and where you feel as incredible as you look. Virgil and I work as a team, blending artistry with precision to create a luxurious, effortless experience where every moment is captured from the heart.
The world of wedding photography was first introduced to me when Virgil and I began dating in 2018. Now as we’re married, what started as simply supporting his journey soon blossomed into a deep passion for serving wedding couples with intention and care. I fell in love with the process of creating a memorable experience—one where couples feel celebrated, cared for, and effortlessly beautiful in front of the camera. It became about more than just assisting; it was about being part of something truly special, helping to create memories that will last a lifetime.
